This lesson describes the information that is tracked in the litigation metrics. To manage the process see the last step. As the task or milestone is completed, you enter the date in the Matter form.
Open the Matter - Select the Metrics Tab

1. Click the Metrics tab once the matter has been opened
As the dates are entered, this means the task has been completed
Initial File Management

1. Assigned Date
2. Acknowledged Date
3. Intial Client Conact
4. Received Date
5. Opinion Date 6. Status of the opinion (type here)
Case Management Area 1

1. Plaintiff Discovery Date
2. Plaintiff Discovery Verbal Report
3. Plaintiff Discovery Written Report
4. Commenced Scheduling Defence Discoveries
5. Defence Discovery Date

2. Managing Lawyer Notes (about the action - use this to quickly remind yourself of the reason you are looking at the matter)

1. Click to open the matter and change the information on the Metrics tab
2. Don't forget to delegate tasks
3. Print this page as it appears here
4. 7 Second Help and Support site
5. The fields in the Metrics area will appear here
6. At the bottom of the powerview will appear the status notes on the matter
Manage the Process from the Metrics Quicktab

From the Matter list
1. Click the Metrics tab
2. The columns should sort by the Next Action date. Presumable, no matter should have a Next Action date before today.
3. Remember you can sort by any column
4. To change the information open the matter and edit the matter as described above.
