Key Dates List - Where you go to manage key dates across all matters

1. Click the Key Dates Icon
2. Quicktabs will help you analyze (see next step)
3. You can also search by any other criteria
Working the List - Quicktabs

1. Work your way across the Quicktabs (descriptions of each are below)
2. Highlight a keydate to see more information. These are key dates across all matters
3. Any notes will appear at the bottom. You will also see a date calculation, in this case 8 days left.
4. You can quickly delegate a task
Note:
The quicktabs are based on the following criteria:
Next 30 Days - All Key dates where your initials are in the staff field in the next 30 days
Next 60 days - All Key dates where your initials are in the staff field in the next 60 days
Not Done - All Key dates that are not done and have your initials in the staff field. This is regardless of date and shows and key dates in the past
New Dates - Shows all key dates with your initials in the staff in the order in which they were added to your list
Update the Key Dates

1. You can add quick notes to update the status of the key date
2. Mark the Key Date done when it is completed
Marking Key Dates Done

1. When marked done, they will still show in the list, but you can visually see they are complete.
Make sure you are marking these key dates as done when they are considered done. Remember the key date is the placeholder for the significant milestone in the matter. The Memo section and the Done field allow you to keep everyone up to date with the current status of each key date.
